Great restaurant on the golf course. They even cater to your fur-babies. You have a choice of chopped chicken, hamburger, or salmon. Mine loved the chicken. My Halibut fish and chips were scrumptious. My daughter's Salmon, roasted vegetables, and rice were delicious. We shared a great Ceasar salad. We enjoyed our beverages, too, Gin Peach Fizz and Cranberry Margareta.
Seared salmon with rice and veggies was delicious. The halibut fish n chips were also delicious. Drinks were great too! Rated 4/5 on atmosphere because we sat in the outside patio and we felt it could use some TLC to create a better environment that matches the costs per plate. Overall though, very good first time experience. Thanks!
The Cove catered my wedding in Astoria in 2022. They were incredible to work with! They prepared an amazing assortment of our dishes for the wedding that all tasted great. They even managed to do fish and chips that managed to stay crispy despite the travel time. A huge thanks to your team. I hope I already left a review but was just thinking of this and wanted to make sure I had.
We had a nice celebratory dinner. My wife had prime rib, & I had prawns scampi. We started with calamari. Both meals were delicious. The calamari was tender, but could have been a bit more flavorful. Reservations recommended, as there aren't many tables.
I was there on Monday and had the Reuben sandwich with sweet potato fries and a Caesar salad. I had enough for two complete meals. The customer service is amazing! I had a little concern and I talked to the owner and all of it was taken care of. That told me a lot about who's running this amazing business. They want to get to know their customers and their customers needs. They have excellent food lovingly assembled by one of the best chefs on the peninsula. He's not only good at putting together an excellent meal, but he's also personable. Wouldn't want more than that. Can't wait to go back. Haven't tried one of those specials yet, but I'm going to. This is a restaurant we all want to keep open. Excellent food, charming ambience, and a caring, well educated chef. I'd say the owners have done something pretty darn right.
Dog friendly outdoor area. Great service and food. They even have a menu for your furry family members! We were there on Taco Thursday. We had 2 cod and 2 prawn tacos. You can get them grilled or crispy. We got grilled and they were delicious. We also shared a bowl of their award winning clam chowder. It was the best we've had in Washington, so far.
Ordered delivery to hotel. Service was fast. Food was hot. The halibut melted in your mouth with a delicious crunchy batter, the fries were nicely seasoned and the tarter sauce was spot on. The apple turnover was crunchy with a dusting of cinnamon. I ate mine as is and am using the carmel sauce for my hotel coffee. (Mods to order: requested no slaw, no lemon and no ala mode) One small note: the blue from the paper transfered onto the fish.
Staff was super friendly. We had the most amazing waitress. Food was very good. Highly Recommend
